These terms are an agreement between you and Clear Concepts (“Clear Concepts”, “we”) for the use of clearconcepts.app, the tutor dashboard and the academy websites we host. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.

The service

Clear Concepts lets tutors and coaching institutes (“academies”) publish courses and tests, enrol learners, and sell courses, test series and exam attempts. Learners use the academies they join.

Accounts

  • Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Academies may add staff accounts; the owner remains responsible for them.
  • A learner under 18 needs the consent of a parent or lawful guardian.

Academies’ responsibilities

  • You own, or have the rights to, everything you upload, and it does not infringe anyone’s rights.
  • You describe your courses and test series honestly, and deliver what you sell.
  • You obtain the consents your learners must give, and handle their data lawfully.
  • You are responsible for taxes on your sales, including GST where it applies.

Plans and payments

  • Paid plans are bought for one period at a time (a month or a year) and do not renew automatically.
  • Upgrading during a period charges the difference for the time left in that period.
  • Online payments are processed by Razorpay and are subject to its terms. Prices are shown before you pay.
  • Refunds follow our refund policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, distribute pirated or harmful content, harass anyone, send spam, or interfere with the platform’s security or other users’ access.

Content

You keep ownership of your content. You allow us to host, store, transcode and display it as needed to run the service. You can export your learners and results at any time.

Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

Disclaimers and liability

We work to keep the service available and secure, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
